WHY I WANT TO TALK ABOUT KOREAN LANGUAGE STUDY

The reason I talk about Korean language study is because of my extensive experience as a Korean language teacher for over 10 years. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of teaching Korean to a diverse range of students, from expats and diplomats to K-pop fans, and it has given me a deep understanding of the true diversity of our planet. I have realized the importance of having a proper guide when learning a language that is significantly different from one's first language, especially in the case of Korean.

Korean is a unique and beautiful language that has its own writing system called 한글 (Hangul), known for its simplicity and logical structure. I'm excited to share practical tips to help you better understand and speak Korean, while addressing common mistakes I have observed in my students. Through lessons and practice, you'll gain the confidence to communicate in Korean and connect with locals on a deeper level.

However, language learning is not just about memorizing words and grammar rules; it's also about immersing oneself in the culture and understanding the nuances of the language. As we explore Seoul, we'll also delve into Korean customs, traditions, and etiquette and learn how language and culture are intricately intertwined. From mastering Korean honorifics to navigating Korean dining etiquette, we'll gain insights into the rich cultural heritage of Korea.
